Ask us to delete the data Podmail holds about you

Podmail keeps your mail in your own Pod, encrypted so that only you can read it. The Podmail service holds very little about you, and every item is listed below. Tick what you’d like us to delete.

We’ll confirm the request by email to your @podmail.me address (or the contact email you give) before deleting anything, so nobody can delete your data but you. We aim to complete requests within 30 days.

Not held by us

Your mail and files are in your own Pod, encrypted with your key. Delete them in your Pod, using Podmail or any Solid app.
Your Pod account is with the Pod provider you chose. Ask them to close it. For a Pod on a Private Insights server, see the Private Insights privacy policy.
Server logs and spam-filter data are deleted automatically: logs after 30 days, spam-check history after 5 days, and spam-filter statistics after 100 days.

My @podmail.me address
Your address and its link to your WebID and Pod. The address is retired and never given to anyone else, and mail sent to it will bounce.

Mail waiting on the Podmail servers
Encrypted mail your app hasn't collected yet, and any mail you sent that is still being retried.

In-app donation records
The Google Play purchase token, product and date of donations made in the Android app. Google keeps its own record of the payment.

Website donation records
The email address, amount and date we recorded for donations made on this website. Stripe keeps its own record of the payment.

Contact form, support and feedback messages, and our replies.
